I Love Football Season

**CONGRATS TO TEAM SPAIN ON WINNING THE WORLD CUP**

I got my first taste of the coming football season when yesterday when I had a fantasy football draft with nine friends. I love fantasy football drafts - they're so fun.

I also drafted a really good team

I'll be rooting for the 49ers and Bengals again this season (49ers have been my dad's team ever since he was a kid, and I like Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins), and I got lucky enough to have many of them on the team.

In addition to fantasy football drafts, I'm also having a little season-long contest through ESPN. It's called the Playoff Predictor, and you guess the standings in each conference and the wildcards who will make the playoffs. The winner of this contest will get a pack of football cards and perhaps something else at the end of the season.

Who's the football team you will be rooting for this season?

Name My Team?

Howdy folks! I've got a sort of a contest for y'all, although there's no prize for the winner (😔). It's just for fun.

My fantasy football league just opened for the 2025-2026 season, and I don't know what to name 'em.

Last year they were Garappolos Tortoise -- since Jimmy Garoppolo was one of the few players I knew. But, with a new season comes a new name, and I'm in the mood for some fun.

So please feel free to leave a comment with a suggestion for my fantasy football team's name. I will pick the name I like best, and choose that one for my team. Suggestions will run until Opening Day, I guess. I didn't think it through too hard before doing it (the idea came to mind like 7 minutes ago).

Until next time, have a great week, and happy collecting!
